Goals of Our Program
Together, We Can Change Lives
Mentorship
Teenage mothers often feel isolated, judged, and unsure of where to turn. As a mentor, you can offer guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear. Your support helps young mothers gain confidence, set goals, and navigate the challenges of returning to school and building a new life.
“A single conversation can remind a young mother that she’s not alone—and that her dreams still matter.”

Child Care
One of the biggest barriers keeping teenage mothers out of school is the lack of safe, reliable child care. Volunteers who help in our child care centers make it possible for young mothers to attend classes, focus on their studies, and build new skills without worry. You’ll be giving not just your time—but hope and peace of mind.
“When you care for a child, you’re helping a mother keep her future on track.”

Teaching
Do you have skills in academics, arts, crafts, or vocational training? Become a volunteer teacher with GEH! Share your knowledge with teenage mothers eager to learn and transform their lives. From literacy and numeracy to tailoring and entrepreneurship, every lesson opens doors to new possibilities.
“Education doesn’t just fill minds—it lifts spirits and rebuilds futures.”

Empowering
Empowerment goes beyond classrooms. It’s about giving teenage mothers practical tools, resources, and life skills that help them become independent and resilient. Volunteers can help deliver workshops on financial literacy, health education, self-esteem, or legal rights. If you have professional expertise, your skills can make a profound difference.
“Empowerment is giving young women the keys to unlock their own potential.”
